The contemporary society was developed its geopolitical roots on the ashes of the biggest armed conflict in history with rules established by the winners that have made the world to become the place we live it today.
Without any historical or cultural claims faithful to the objective of entertaining the audience through fiction of erotic and pornografic genre, Mario Salieri focuses the narrative on the darkest sides of the human beast in war. Small episodes that in the great war theater, in the absence of legal and moral constraints, staged that dormant darkness being present in each of us. A darkness capable of depriving men of their critical capacity and awaken the conscienses of perverse and brutal instincts.
The work titled THE WORLD ON FIRE proposes a series of episodes, in some cases based on actual incidents that occured during those dark and stormy years, made known with the invaluable advice of authoritative historians and from recellections of the incedents.
